Lennie's whole life and career had been based on the ability to communicate with people. Over the past several years that ability has gradually diminished due to his inability to hear. The frustration and embarrassment that he was feeling was mounting every day.

It had gotten so bad that he no longer wanted to take part in even something as simple as going out to dinner, or running an errand, for fear he would not be able to communicate with those around him.

All the hearing devices he had tried always seemed to end up in the drawer, as they did not seem to help the problem. He said he was ready to just give up on life.

But since being fitted with the wonderful new technology invented by your labs, he has a whole new life. Lennie can't wait to put his aids in when he wakes up and then he says, "the world turns on for me." It truly is a miracle and we cannot thank you enough for giving us back our lives to enjoy.

It was a magnificent experience being fitted for hearing devices by your staff. My wife, Jewel, had never worn hearing devices before and it has opened up a new life that she once enjoyed prior to her hearing problem.

I have worn hearing devices for over twenty years and the new ones are beyond belief! They are light years ahead of the ones I had been wearing. We can hear others speaking at the table while dining in a very noisy restaurant. The word "what" is no longer in our vocabulary.

Speaking on the telephone has become a pleasure and not a painful chore. The television is no longer blasting and our five-year-old grandson does not have to repeat and shout for us to understand him. One has to experience the ability to hear well again to know what it really means.

Destiny hearing devices are the best improvement in hearing devices that I have experienced in my 18 years of wearing hearing devices. I am still amazed when riding in a car and hearing a loud road noise which is soon decreased to a softer background noise. It has been a month since my hearing evaluation, fitting and programming. To say that the experience has been "life changing" is an understatement. My hearing is so vastly improved in so many situations that were previously a serious problem for me.

Friends, acquaintances, business associates, and most importantly, family members are literally amazed by my ability to hear. Noisy restaurants, movie theatres, driving in the car and actually participating in conversation are just a few of the major positives.

I can actually drive home from work and listen to the "play-by-play" of the Yankee game on the car radio! … It has been a "win-win" situation all around and I will be forever grateful for your efforts on my behalf.

I want to express my sincere thanks to you for fitting me with Destiny CICs. I've always worn BTEs and was skeptical about CICs, but hopeful about the new technology.

At the art museum on Saturday night, I was totally blown away. These aids were awesome! Hearing in that very challenging environment was amazing—almost like listening with FM. I've logged more hours (12-14/day) with these aids than with any I've ever had before. They're so comfortable and my hearing is much improved.

I've already begun sharing my excitement about the aids with my patients, which is something I've never done before. I know they will not be disappointed.
